Frequently Asked Questions
What is the tuition in Chapin VR School?
Chapin VR School offers an annual membership for $200. Once you decide to commit, you will get a Zoom link to 10a EST class on Saturdays with Dr. Budur and a password to a pre-recorded collection of classes and Chapin VR Mobile App. Parents’ responsibility is to shop for the needed materials in advance.
How to book a class?
Once you become a member, you just show up on Zoom on Saturdays at 10a EST or practice anytime anywhere the classes from the pre=recorded collection.
How to set up my child for the class?
You need a computer or any electronic device which has access to the Internet. The bigger the screen is, the better to catch the details and specifics of the class. Make sure your child has space on the table to put all the materials and have an area to do the work. Click the Zoom link which you receive in an email confirming the annual membership and wait for the host to let you into the classroom. Please show up 1-2 minutes in advance: we start and end our classes on time. Consider getting AR glasses to protect your kid’s eyes from too much screen time. Perhaps, install a projector and a screen.
Shall I supervise my child during the class?
There will be minimal supervision necessary in most classes. However, we will alert all parents in advance if your children will need your assistance. For instance, cutting aluminum foil or setting up a special light, will require adult assistance. Also, Chapin VR School hopes that some parents will join the classes and create together with their children.
